Urk...I stopped reading Uncanny X-Men in the late 80s-early 90s, so to this day I have a hard time seeing her "as an X-Man". She'll always be "the White Queen" to me.
I'm sure Marvel did a logical job with all of it although I have a feeling the plotline was so convoluted at the time if I tried to go back and trace through it I'd only give myself a headache... But heck, I'm so "old school" when it comes to X-Men I still can't buy Magneto as a "good guy" because he didn't have anything good about him when he first appeared. His "sympathetic" side was kind of retconned into him during the original "Phoenix years"...
I guess the only thing I have issue with is how the briefly-lived anime did it in that flashback...making her look like she was "conflicted" and "feeling guilty" during her years as a villain. Uh...no.
Hi, I had a question for you guys. I generally don't read any of the X-Men comics, but I'm curious about a couple scanned in pages I found a while ago, one of them being this. [link] Would anyone happen to know what issue it's from?
I can only tell you that it is from Uncanny and I think it's going to be around issue 500 or slightly above or less You can try looking to find out through this website it really helped me. [link]
